Fabulous scenic shot of of the river and helicopter Nisah - don't forget the cakes in Ackland Street to go with that coffee! :)) Melbourne has a wonderful arts and food culture!

Nisah Cheatham replied:

We definitely took in that coffee culture and mostly spent our food dollars on brunches (oddly enough).

Beautiful capture of Melbourne skyline, the most livable city in the world, very well done! l/f

Nisah Cheatham replied:

Its an amazingly photogenic city. There are gritty narrow streets and alleys, shiny new builds along the river... the parks...the trams... and the beaches and piers down St. Kilda way. I could easily be convinced to go back just for the coffee and photography.

The "bird" is a nicce touch. Like the reflections in the shiny building walls!

Nisah Cheatham replied:

I didn't realize that I was getting closer and closer to an active helipad. I noticed the traffic and another helipad earlier in my walk up the river. But then as I was noticing how shiny the buildings were, it all came together! 😁

Artist's Description

Melbourne's Yarra River offers up some great photo-ops. It also seems that helicopter commuting was a thing that day. I passed by two different helipads and luckily had a chance to watch this 'bird' on approach. ** FEATURED ** 02/03/2018 - NEW FAA Uploads 12/22/2017 - The World We See Group 12/18/2017 - USA Photographers Only 12/17/2017 - Images That Excite You

I am a traveler & a foodie & a night owl - and my photography reflects that. So, yes, I gravitate towards urban/city and street scenes, and also have a wild, yet really unattainable dream of visiting all of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. But rounding out my portfolio, you will definitely see nature, landscape, and even food photography. Thank you for taking the time to visit. - Flickr: Nisah Cheatham | Instagram: @nisahnet | Twitter: @nisahnet - FAA Group Administrator: UNESCO World Heritage Sites
