The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. We took the ferry from Valletta to Birgu and then found some dinner quickly so that we could get back out by when the light was good. Eventually, we found ourselves across a bay from the Villa Bighi (the lit left side structure atop the cliff) and Esplora Science Museum (lit sphere).
