Artist's Description
First built as a castle by the sea (Castrum Maris) around 1240. It was refurbished some 300 years later into a serious fortification & then again some 150 years after that.
I found the juxtaposition so interesting - a massive super-yacht moored beside the almost 800-year-old structure.
