My take on the iconic tannery area of Fez Morocco.
The leather is first dipped in pigeon guano, then cleaned and then dyed using all natural dyes like mint leaves for green. Of course, the place had an odor...quite opposite of the how it looks.

Thank you, Inge! Its such an interesting site. The evening light was annoying for other shots deeper in the medina, but this was on the edge and more open air and worked out well for me. ;-)
