Description
It had been raining all day, but I wasn't going to miss this sight. So, after hoping for (and not getting) a break in the weather, I grabbed my co-worker and an umbrella. After about 30-40 minutes on the subway, we emerged to a light drizzle but by the time we had walked the couple of blocks to the river, it had stopped raining altogether.
The rest of the evening was rain free and the first hour or so was practically crowd-free.
